The SEQ Elevate: Skills for the Future project is an EU co-funded, Social Innovation (SI+) Initiative project that aims to support vulnerable young people not in employment, education, or training (NEETs) in re-engaging in learning and improving their employability. This project uses an innovative learning methodology combining social-emotional learning skills developed in a co-design process with micro-learning content and a gamified online support tool, accompanied by practical Living Labs in local settings inspired by the format of Vienna Weeks. By informal learning, self-assessment, and individual support, SEQ Elevate helps young people to develop key competencies for the social economy, increase their confidence, and re-integrate into society in a sustainable manner

Objectives

Empower vulnerable youth through tailored upskilling pathways.
Equip youth workers with innovative guidance tools.
Foster collaboration between NGOs and public authorities.
Promote social economy as a viable career path.

Our roadmap to re-engage NEETs into society and create sustainable change

Stakeholder Engagement and Co-design Approach

Partners carry out in-depth research to identify key skills and needs, and to co-design the SEQ Elevate approach with young people, practitioners and stakeholders.

Micro-units for Skills Development

The project creates short, flexible learning micro-units and SEQ comp cards that help young people recognise, assess and validate the skills they gain in informal and non-formal settings.

Gamified Digital App

An interactive gamified app supports self-assessment, motivation and progression, turning guidance and learning into an engaging digital experience.

SEQ Living Labs

Building on the successful Vienna Weeks practice,, immersive living labs will connect entrepreneurs, social economy professionals, trainers with NEET youth  through open days, workshops, counselling, a lifelong guidance fair, job opportunities and start-up funding
